Since 1898, the Madec family has been crafting delicious oysters on the peaceful shores of Aber Benoît in Lannilis. They were among the first in the region to farm oysters, carefully selecting the finest spots for their beds. Their commitment to quality quickly earned them a place in esteemed eateries like Maison Prunier and l'Huîtrière in Lille. Even today, you can see traces of their early work along the Prat-Ar-Coum shores.

In Aber Benoît and Aber Wrac'h, Yvon Madec tends to his oysters, benefiting from the perfect blend of fresh river water and salty ocean currents. This unique environment is rich in plankton, the oysters' favorite food, giving them their distinctive flavor.
